Hakusei – Stuffing
Lyrics: Arimura Ryutaro
Music: Arimura Ryutaro
Here’s hoping for fun things to happen a rendezvous
to Andromeda
While you continuing forward, the knife of lonliness stabs in a dizzy swirl
Here’s hoping for lovely things to happen peacocks
spreading out in a dream all at once
As expected, the night has come and without a thought, eyes close
A hole has opened up in the sky and people are secrely climbing to it
The beginning and the end, are you going to forget them?
Although inside the heart, there is an untouchable husk
Smiling, distorting, look at you in my arms, so beautiful
Here’s hoping for happy things to happen the girls turn off the lights
There is no one that is ugly in here, if you notice (the mirror’s dead end)
Searching for spiderwebs deep in a dream———-
if you catch it, in that moment, it snaps
Rising to the surface and sinking down, unmelting impurity
Crying out without a voice, who do you call?
Adding 1 plus 1, what doesn’t answer is an eternal secret
Delayed treatment the palm of your hand the world lurches
That’s the way it is searching in the middle of a dark field
Reddish bluish the sounds of the heart
Rose colored depression
The beginning and the end, are you going to forget them?
Although inside the heart, there is an untouchable husk
Smiling, distorting, you are in my arms, always
Taking its time with your destruction, your body is quiet
Covered in nothing but scars, what has been discovered?
Precious, giddy, in our arms, we are lined up each of us, beautiful
TN: Parenthetical bit is actually reversed in the lyric book. Also, that Andromeda line actually climbs towards the top from the end of the previous line. Very neat.
But anyway. Bout that song, eh!? So, this is the first song off the album I translated. Not only is it the title track, but also the only lyrics Ryutaro wrote, aside from previous singles, on the whole thing. WAT?
Then, let’s get to the subject matter. I don’t think I have ever encountered a song that made me want to cry so hard. I’m not actually crying, but I certainly feel like a monster for not. WHAT IS THIS SONG!? WHY??? Seriously, reading this hurt. I couldn’t stop once I started, but…wow. I kinda wanna know what’s going on, but then, I really probably don’t.
God, this one’s going up there with Long Distance Call.
